CHEM 107 is an introductory general education science course for non-science majors that examines the way chemistry impacts our world. Chemical principles will be explored in the context of real world issues, with an emphasis on environmental topics. Through a blended approach, this course should prepare the student to make decisions about important environmental, social, and ethical issues that face our society and our planet. You will learn basic chemical terminology, concepts, and perform simple “hands-on” laboratory, virtual laboratory exercises and problem solving techniques related to the discipline of Chemistry.
