Following the principles of the post method condition in language education, SPAN101 Conversational Spanish 101 (NS) is a Task-Based Language Teaching program for nurses. The objective of creating a communicative condition in class is to help students to focus on communication and meaning rather than on the linguistic aspects of the language such as: verb conjugation, agreement and grammatical topics. In Task-Based Language Teaching, the learning of grammar items happens in an implicit way. The procedural or communicational syllabus allows learners to focus on the tasks that they have to perform. There is no course text book for this course and non-explicit teaching of linguistic (grammar) content.
